The Company Background

KPI is formerly known as Kubota Agro-Industrial Machinery Philippines, Inc. (KAMPI). KAMPI was organized in November 1997 as a joint venture company among the M.B. Zamora Group (70%), Kubota Corporation (15%) and Marubeni Corporation (15%) of Japan. The corporate name Kubota Agro-Industrial Machinery Philippines, Inc. (KAMPI) was amended to Kubota Philippines, Inc (KPI) in June 1, 2011 when Kubota Corporation of Japan acquired the 70% Filipino shareholdings of M. B. Zamora Group, effectively converting ownership of the company to Kubota Corporation (85%) and Marubeni Corporation (15%).

KPI’s primary objective is to act as the exclusive agent, importer and distributor of Kubota agricultural machineries and equipment in the Philippines such as: water-cooled diesel engines, 4-wheel tractors, diesel-fed generators, rice transplanters, combine harvesters and other industrial products. KPI also serves as the central parts and service center, providing warranty, maintenance and repair services for such products.

KPI maintains a head office in Quezon City where its sales, parts and service operations and main warehouse are located. The company has also a branch office in Davao City and covers the rest of the country thru its network of authorized dealers.
