Description

  • * Manages parts operations to maximize return on investment through:
  • Achieving profitable parts sales
  • – Optimizing Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
  • – Exercising disciplined expense control
  • – Leading and guiding staff to maximize productivity, attracting and retaining outstanding talent and effectively engaging department personnel

Duties and Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

  • Develop and maintain effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Create annual Parts Department goals and budget, in alignment with the company’s financial and operational objectives
  • Develop and execute Parts Department marketing plan and monitor to ensure achievement of departmental goals
  • Conduct a cycle/annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories
  • Submit all parts warranty and return claims within the required time frame in cooperation with Service Department
  • Maximize use of all order discount programs from KBT vendors
  • Maintain all department tools & equipment in good working order
  • Ensure adherence to all Company Policies & Procedures

SPECIFIC

  • Establish, manage and control a sales system that recognizes and enforces concepts leading to customer loyalty and referrals
  • Follow-up and resolve all customer requests and complaints
  • Establish long and short term sales and profit objectives for both the department and sales personnel
  • Maintain and build on sales to ensure department profitability
  • Develop merchandising, advertising and sales promotion plans to enhance the profitability of the department
  • Manage departmental expenses to maximize profitability and review expenses regularly to ensure resources are being used effectively and efficiently
  • Develop and maintain efficient billing, costing and discount procedures
  • Establish and maintain a balanced inventory that ensures customer’s parts needs are met especially during peak seasons
  • Ensure obsolescence criteria are met and obtained specifically for non-moving parts
  • Seek and provide market and competitor information for evaluation
  • Establish and maintain lines of communication and cooperation with KBT Parts Marketing, SKC & KAMS

Requirements

  • Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or any Engineering related course/s
  • At least two (2) to three (3) years in analyzing spare parts (purchasing, inventory & forecasting)
  •  Has knowledge in parts sales & marketing
  •  Customer service oriented

Description

  • Collaborate with Parts Purchasing Staff and order receive staff to create effective procedures for inventory control.
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels based on sales history between KPI and dealer and discussion with dealer.
    ° Decrease back order amount and line up
    °  Increase fill rate
  • Survey market demand of spare parts (price, fake parts, etc.) and review KPI parts price.
  • Make recommend list for all product with field service and monitor parts inventory level of dealer and encourage them to stock parts to minimize machine downtime due to lack of spare parts.
  • Forecast parts for new model to be purchased.
  • Study the best way to purchase parts from vendor in order for dealer to receive them within the period of Parts Policy (SO, EO, MO, IO) considering lead time of each order type and expense.

Requirements

  • Graduate of BS Math / Mechanical Engineering / any Engineering related course/s
  • With at least two (2) to three (3) years experience in analyzing spare parts (purchasing, inventory and forecasting)
